About Us
Kristybee and Have A Tail Waggin’ Day - Three years ago I lost my only daughter, Kristin Bresnan, who died very unexpectedly. One day, I began to think of ways that I could keep Kristin’s memory alive. She owned a mobile dog grooming business called Waggin Wheels. On her grooming truck and in her sign off on the phone she used the expression
“Have A Tail Waggin’ Day”
It occurred to me that putting her expression out into the universe would be a wonderful way to memorialize Kristin and to bring a smile to pet lovers everywhere. I designed the little dog to look like two of Kristin’s old dogs, Vaila and Louise.
Kristin was a devoted volunteer at Best Friends Animal Shelter in Kanab Utah, the largest no kill animal shelter in the United States. Twice yearly she drove over 20 hours, non-stop, to spend time with the animals there. She loved them all, dogs, cats, horses, bunnies. She had a soft spot in her heart for the pigs. A friend related that she was so covered in mud at the end of the day that she had to get into the shower with her clothes on.
There is a memorial bench for Kristin at Angel’s Rest at Best Friends. The spirits of hundreds of animals who walked the earth over the last 35 years are interred there. The lovely wind chimes that sound there are a reminder of Kristin as her spirit has joined the spirits of the animals she so loved.
Because of Kristin’s love of all animals, Ten percent of our net proceeds will be donated to the care and adoption of shelter animals.
